For those who prefer to stay dry while being active, the volleyball court can be an excellent option.

Corona del Mar State Beach is wheelchair accessible. The lifeguard headquarters has one wheelchair that is capable of rolling through the sand, if you do not have your own, though it is available on a first come, first serve basis starting at 9:00 am.

Many visitors also enjoy fishing during the Grunion Run. During that time, fishing is permitted on specific segments of the beaches in the area, though a license is required to participate.

While the beach is open to the public, you may need to pay for parking depending on whether there are any spots available in the public lots. Certain on-street parking options are metered, so there may be a charge.

Dog owners who visit the beach must always carry a bag or device on their person for cleaning up any waste. This ensures that the beach stays clean, creating a more enjoyable environment.
