The park is a lovely place to spend the day. Lifeguards are present year-round at the main tower. Other lifeguard stations are open during the busy months. The beach is marked with flags that warn swimmers and surfers of tide and wave conditions. The beach also has flags that separate swimming from surfing areas. There are picnic tables and a playground for the kids.
There are rules for the safety of all that must be adhered to while visiting the beach. There is no releasing of flying objects or flying of kites at this beach. Do not bring alcohol or glass containers to the beach. All visitors are reminded to control noise levels and to be respectful of others. There is no camping or overnight facilities. The north end of the beach will allow campfires. Restrooms and showers are located at the north and central ends of the beach. A nearby parking area makes it easy to access the park and beach with our pet.
