At the beach you can find a large parking lot, but it's likely to get filled up quickly on a gorgeous summer day. Since dogs are only allowed on the beach during the off season, or during the mornings and evenings during the summer, you're sure to have more space to yourselves. These are the pawfect times for a morning jog with Fido and catching a beautiful sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean. Since this space is pawpular among pet-parents, your doggo will most likely get the chance to play in the sand with some new furry friends.Â
At low tide, East Beach is a great location for collecting shells, exploring, or doing some fishing. Make sure your curious canine doesn't get their nose pinched by a crab! Some other activities that people enjoy here include kite surfing, sunbathing, swimming, and a variety of other water sports. There are plenty of amenities here too, including restrooms, showers where you can rinse off your sandy doggo, and an information stand. Be sure to bring drinking water and clean up bags though!
Dogs are welcome at East Beach with both paws, as long as a few guidelines are followed. This includes only bringing your dog during the designated times. During these times, your pal is free to scamper around off-leash, as long as they stay under voice control. Please always pick up after your pal, and don't let them harass any wildlife.Â
East Beach is sure to have your pupper leaping for joy!Â
