If you are not in the dog swim area, your dog will not be allowed on the sand, so be sure to know where the sidewalks, grass area, and the parking lots are located. When your dog is not in the water, they do need to have their leash on. Otherwise, they are allowed to swim to their heart's content. Just be mindful of those around you and make sure your four-legged pal is behaving. On top of this, you need to make sure you bring with you an adequate amount of waste baggies so that you can clean up any mess that your dog may leave behind.
There are plenty of amenities for you to use while visiting this beach area, including restrooms, showers, and changing areas. During the summer season, there is also a concession stand for you to get a bite to eat at. During the offseason days there is no parking fee, so no worries there. However, if you decide to go during the summer season, which is highly likely, you will have to pay a small fee for parking which varies depending on if you are a resident or not. No matter what though, this beach is a fantastic place to visit, whether you are bringing your fluffy friend or not, so do not pass up an opportunity to go here.
