You and your doggo are entirely allowed to explore the Gold Bluff Beach area in Orick California any time you want, but you'll both be required to stay off the trails and park areas. This beach is located just off Highway 101, just 3-4 miles after Orick on Davidson Road.Â
Gold Bluff Beach at Prairie Creek does require that you and your doggo abide by a few rules and regulations. First, you and your pup must be well behaved. If your pup isn't great with other dogs and pawrents, then the doggo beach might not be the best spot for the two of you. It's always a good idea to make sure your dog has a good grip on voice commands before taking them to the beach.
The dog beach here also requests that you keep your pup on a leash at all times - no free-roaming pups at this beach! Ensure that your doggo is on a leash that's no more than six feet long.Â
The beach also requires you to clean up after every mess your dog makes, so ensure that you have plenty of pup poop bags on hand to help make sure you never leave a mess. This beach goes by the "leave only pawprints" philosophy, so make sure that you and your pooch abide by this! Pack up any garbage you bring in so that this spot stays clean and open for many years to come!
