If you want a daily pass for your dog, it is $5 for residents and $10 for non-residence. If you would like to purchase a 6-month pass for your dog, the price is $30 for residents and $60 for non-residence. Since this beach is only open on the weekends and has limited hours, expect the beach to get quite crowded with lots of dogs and their owners.
If you bring your dog to this beach they are required to have their current rabies vaccine and tag, must be under control by the owner, you must pick up after your dog goes to the bathroom, and ill-behaved dogs or owners will be asked to leave the beach.
This park is monitored by a park ranger at all times to make sure all dogs are under control and that they all stay in the dog-friendly beach area and do not wander outside of this specific location during the appropriate times.
The beach has a large, clean, and soft sandy area for your dog to run around and play. They do not have to wear their leash at this location. Dogs are also allowed to enter the ocean as well. Humans can go in with their pup and play around! You are more than welcome to bring toys, balls, water, a chair, and an umbrella while your dog runs around. They may enjoy the shade from the umbrella as well.
You are expected to bring your own doggie poop bags with you so you can clean up after your dog. You will find trashcans to throw the bags away. Overall, this beach is a perfect, dog-friendly option that makes your beach experience with your dog safe, fun, and exciting!
