There is free parking near the beach, but the lot only fits about 40 cars and fills up quickly. Street parking is also very limited, so be sure to check the signs before parking in a residential area. If possible, it's a great idea to walk to the beach. That way you'll both be ready to dive in the water when you arrive! The pathway down to the beach from the parking lot is narrow and rocky, and may be hazardous for someone with physical limitations.Â
Longport Dog Beach has very limited amenities, with no restrooms or trash receptacles. In order to keep this beach open to our furry friends, please bring clean up bags and do your part to keep the beach clean. Despite there being limited amenities, you won't need to worry about a lack of fun times here! Your pal will have plenty of opportunities to romp around in the sand in glorious off-leash freedom. Fido can roughhouse with his new friends, and run, rinse and repeat all day.Â
Overall, Longport Dog Beach is the pawfect way to spend some quality time outside with your best pal. Pet parents are also asked to keep an eye on their fur-babies at all times, and make sure they stay respectful to others. Bring water to share, and snacks for you both for a pawtastic day out!
Longport Dog Beach is sure to put a wag in your dog's tail!Â
