The Pacific Ocean waters can be a little chilly, but Fido is still welcome to join you for a swim should he so choose. However, you should note that it is recommended that barkinis be left at home in favor of wetsuits if you plan to engage in any water sports such as surfing, paddleboarding, or kayaking. Riptides can also be very strong at this beach, so you should consider the weather forecast before heading out on an ocean adventure with your best canine pal in tow. To be certain to keep the pawlice far away, you will want to keep Fido on his leash at all times.
Manzanita Beach is not a heavily trafficked beach which gives it a tranquil, secluded feel.
