Packed with coastal trails, Muir Beach is a must-see wonderland for you and your adventurous dog. That being said, we suggest making sure you're absolutely ready and prepared before you take your dog to Muir beach, as it's a pretty serious environmentally-protected area.Â
Dogs aren't allowed in the shower stations or restrooms, and your furry friend isn't allowed to run around off leash. We suggest keeping your pup on a leash that's no longer than six feet long in order to make sure you're keeping them restrained and well-behaved. There will be trails you can take your pooch on, but some you might not be able to, so ensure you're reading all the trail signs before you take off on a trek with your buddy.
Most importantly of all the rules and regulations, make sure you're always cleaning up after your canine companion if you plan to explore Muir Beach. Other than that, you and your doggo are set to enjoy the views, hike, the trails, and enjoy the splash of the water against your paws (and your feet, too). Have fun!
