If you're craving the sweet smell of salt air, Ocean View Beach Park is the place for you! This pawsome beach is located on the shores of Chesapeake Bay and is one of several Norfolk area coastal properties. Known for its beauty and crystal clear waters, Ocean View Beach Park is a beachside haven which welcomes pooches and their people with open paws. Fido may join you both in the surf and on the sand, but he must remain on a leash in order to keep the Virginia paw-lice happy. 

This pawrifically beautiful property is not as heavily trafficked as other beaches in the area, making it a pawsitively awesome spot for a relaxing day spent by the sea. 

There are lots of woofderful things to do at Ocean View Beach Park. Does a walk along Chesapeake Bay's sandy shores sound like the pawrfect way to spend the day with your favorite canine pal? Why not stop along to collect some seashells or watch horseshoe crabs scurrying for cover? If water sports are more your thing, why not hit the waves for some swimming, surfing, or even some fishing? From June 29th through August 31st each year, you can even enjoy free concerts and dancing at the park's bandshell. Fido can come along too, but don't forget to bring his dancing shoes. After your night of music and fun, you can enjoy a quiet moment with your favorite canine pal watching the incredible sunsets from the shore. 

Bathrooms are available on the premises, and they do contain shower facilities. Just to be well-prepared, you should be sure to pack some bottled water and clean up bags with you. Though Ocean View Beach Park is close to many restaurants, you might want to pack a picnic lunch to enjoy on the grounds. Be certain to pack a Scooby Snack for Fido unless you want to share your own!
