Located along Highway 89, just a few miles north of the Kaspian Recreation Area, this beach is not composed of soft sand. The small rocky shoreline lends to the name Pebble Beach, but is still an excellent spot for your dog to explore. The waters are crystal clear and become deep quickly off the shoreline, making it a great place for good dog swimmers to splash and fetch. Your dog should stay on their leash until they get into the water, and then they are free to remain off-leash when they are swimming.
Since this is not an official area, there are no trashcans, clean-up bag stations, restrooms, showers, or any other kind of amenity. Be prepared with all of your beach essentials when heading to this beach, including water to share, snacks, and of course, clean-up bags. Pack out whatever you pack in, and take all trash with you. Even though this is a secluded beach, it is still popular for dogs to come and swim, so expect to see many other dogs there with you.
Pebble Beach is an awesome, scenic, and stunning beach that is perfect for your dog to take a refreshing swim. You will enjoy the bluest and cleanest waters, with a breathtaking view of the gorgeous Lake Tahoe, and it's mountainous landscape!
