Point Isabelle Beach

Point Isabelle Beach will be a new favorite for you and your pooch. Located at the west end of Central Avenue in Richmond, this popular 23-acre park is so dog-friendly, there's even a specific dog-washing station, as well as a café that you and your pup can enjoy! This huge park allows you and your furry BFF to run free, as there is a specific rule that your dogs can be off leash (as long as you can keep them in control)! 

While you're there, you can enjoy activities like bird watching, fishing, bike and running trails, and even kayaking and picnicking. So long as you have a leash with you, you and your pooch are free to wander the park, explore the trails, and take some dips in the Inner Harbor. 

There's access to the water throughout the Park, which is safe for your pooch to swim in for a game of fetch, since there are no currents in the nearby area. The views of the Ocean from this Park are known community-wide, and you may even be able to catch a glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge!

Once you and your pup have had your fill of adventures for the day, feel free to head to the Mudpuppy's Tub & Scrub for a quick wash-down. There, you'll not only find a washing station specifically made for your woofer, but also a "dog-specific retail facility"! 

Once you're feeling fresh and clean, you may notice that you and Fido's bellies may be rumbling. Point Isabelle Beach provides a solution for that as well, right next door! Stop into the Sit and Stay Café, which offers treats for both yourself and your pooch, including soups, ice cream, and your doggo's new favorite treats. There's no parking or pooch fee, so as soon as you're able, hop in your car and visit your woofer's new favorite place to be!
