With plenty of parking, this two mile long beach welcomes your pup to explore the sand and surf at your side, on a six foot leash at all times, of course. Backed by stunning bluffs that are picture-perfect, the beach features shaded picnic areas, lots of human restrooms all along the coastline, and plenty of space to play with your dog. Take a dip in the ocean, romp in the sand, or just lay out and catch some rays. This is also a great spot to take photos, whale watch, catch a sunset, surf, and bird watch.
If you enjoy fishing, you can cast a line off the pier. While you don't need a license to fish off this pier, limits from the Department of Fish and Wildlife still apply, so be sure to check the website for details. Best of all for the RV crowd, there's RV beach camping available. The beach also connects to the New Brighton State Beach to the west, where there's more RV sites, and tent camping sites too.
Parking is just $10 a day for this woofderful beach! Camping sites are extra, and can be reserved online. Be sure to bring enough water to share with your beach dog, as well as clean-up bags, and always stoop and scoop.
The Seacliff State Beach is an pawsome spot to enjoy the soft sand, great surf, and puptacular views with your dog! Check it out today!
