49er RV Ranch

This campground is far more than just a place to rest your head (and your pup's paws) while you run around searching for attractions -- this campground is the attraction! The 49er Ranch RV Ranch is a pawpular campground that is located in the foothills of California Gold Country (near Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, and Sacramento). Not only are you absolutely surrounded by historic mother lode communities like Sonora, Jamestown, Murphys, and more, but you can also immerse yourself in the Gold Rush experience right on-site, as the 49er Ranch offers free gold mining and panning lessons during your stay! What a treat!

As far as accommodations go, the 49er Ranch offers you more than just old ranch hospitality (although you can definitely count on that!). You'll find full hookups at every site with 30/50 amp service. There's cable TV available for you, as well as free wifi, a laundry room, showers and restrooms, three meeting rooms, a hospital center, propane services, and even a country store to meet all of your last-minute needs. 

Even better, your dog can join you on this Gold Rush adventure! In fact, this spot doesn't just allow dogs -- it welcomes them, and the resort website even boasts that it loves pups! Your dog is required to be on their leash at all times, except for when they visit the awesome, fenced-in, on-site, off-leash dog park! Here, your pup can stretch their legs, romp around with other furry friends, and allow you some time to mingle with the other doggo lovers in the park. Otherwise, you'll need to keep your dog on their leash at all times and ensure that you're picking up after their messes every time they make one.
