There are three campsite loops, each a bit different, but all feature many tall, beautiful trees and plenty of shade for relaxing. There are also some spots in the campsites that have views of the scenic Trinity Lake. Fishing, boating, and hiking are the most popular activities in the area. Trinity Lake has wonderful fishing and boating, kayaking, and canoeing are fun water activities as well.
At the actual campsites, you can expect to have access to restrooms with flushing toilets, paved roads, a paved social gathering area, spurs, fresh drinking water, and all sites are equipt with a fire ring and picnic table for enjoying meals. Some sites also have bear-proof lockers to keep food and important belongings safe.
There are several RV spots as well, but they do not have hookups. The peak season for Alpine View Campground is from May to September. Dogs are more than welcome to come with you to the campground, but they should wear a leash at all times, especially because there are bears in the area. Always make sure they have fresh water to drink and a cool and comfortable place to relax and sleep. Poop bags are likely not provided, so please bring your own so you can clean up after your dog.
Overall, this campground is peaceful, quiet, and away from loud and busy roads. With its natural beauty and fun activities, you cannot go wrong with Alpine View!
