Aspen Group Camp in the Inyo National Forest offers a secluded location for you and your family or friends. This site has space for 25 people and five trailers or RVs. Set up your tent or camper among the forest. There are flush toilets, running water, picnic tables, and fire rings here. The Forest Service also provides bear lockers to protect your food and other scented items from these big beasts. You'll have access to hiking trails and water activities in the area. Make your reservations at least four days before your visit.
The campground sits among a stand of aspen trees. There's an open area where you can have picnics with your group. Enjoy the panoramic views of towering mountain peaks and canyons from the clearing. You'll find some mountain biking and hiking trails a few miles up the road. For a scenic trek, hike to Little Lakes Valley or other high alpine lakes in this wilderness. Go fishing for trout near the facility in Rock Creek. Add boating and swimming to your options by heading to the lake that's about five miles away. There's a five mph limit on the water here. Travel with caution as you'll be walking at high elevations.
Pets can come with you to the Inyo National Forest. You must keep Spot on a leash whenever they're not in your vehicle or tent. Immediately collect and throw away any waste in camp. If you're away from the facility, you can bury your dog's poop per forest guidelines.

Get together around the fire ring at night and enjoy the serenity of the area. Keep your campfire in the designated burning area. Be bear aware and follow recommended safety precautions.
