The most popular activities in the area include fishing in the lakes and streams, sightseeing, watching the wildlife, birding, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and taking ATVs on approved trails. At night, the skies and are dark and clear, so stargazing is a favorite activity as well. The campsites are a mixture of wide open spaces and places where there are quite a number of trees that provide ample shade if you are looking for relief from the sun.
