Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort

Camp Lake Jasper is located in Hardeeville, South Carolina. Hardeeville is a great location, as it's not far from great coastal cities, including Savannah, Georgia, and Hilton Head and Beaufort, South Carolina. Basic rates start at $45 per night, but if you want a lakefront site, rates begin at $55 per night. Access to the lake is available regardless of which type of site you choose, though.

As for amenities, Camp Lake Jasper is pretty simple. There are trails for you and your dog to explore together, and the lakes are stocked for catch-and-release fishing. You could also rent a kayak to venture out onto the lake. If you just want to relax, head to the swimming pool with a floatie and an ice-cold drink. The on-site general store is convenient if you need last-minute supplies or just want to grab a snack from the cafe.

If you're camping out with your dog, there are some things you'll want to keep in mind. All leashes must be no longer than six feet, and you're responsible for cleaning up any "presents" your dog tries to leave behind. While there are no breed bans, aggressive dogs of any breed aren't allowed to camp out with you. Only three dogs are allowed per campsite, so if you've got a little pack of pooches, you'll need to plan around that. Camp Lake Jasper also has an amenity just for your dog: a bark park! The on-site dog park is less than an acre in size, but it allows your dog to enjoy some time off-leash and play with some pawesome new friends!

Please be mindful of wildlife that can be found in the campground and in Lake Jasper. Alligators are native to the lake, and although they aren't particularly interested in humans, you should still be aware of your surroundings. Please watch your dog at all times, and remember that this is one of the reasons for the leash requirement.
