Description

Are you looking to camp lakeside with your pooch in Michigan? If so, Camp Seven Lake Campground is the "pawfect" place for you! Dogs are permitted to camp at Seven Lake, as long as they remain on a leash at all times and you tidy up any mess they make.

Campsites begin at rates as low as $20 per night, with day passes available for only $4 per vehicle -- a steal if you and your doggo are looking for a daycation. Campsites can accommodate tents, RVs, and other camping vehicles, such as fifth wheels and pop-up trailers. Electric hookups are available, but unfortunately, no water and sewage services are offered. Many of the campsites are right on the lake and almost all have some privacy. Some sites come with grills, while all sites have fire rings and picnic tables for you to enjoy. Drinking water is also available for campers.

While staying at Camp Seven Lake, you won't be disappointed in the opportunities offered on the water. Camp Seven Lake has a total of 60 acres of water for you two to enjoy. Non-furry family members can take a refreshing swim, or you and your buddy can explore the water by boat. The campground has a boat ramp that guests can access.

Fishing is another option. With the lake abundant in perch, bluegill, and bass, it's an angler's paradise. Not to mention there's a variety of trails for you and your pup to discover. There's a paved walking trail along the beach at Camp Seven Lake and a longer walking loop that stretches for two miles, which will take you and your pup to a lookout point over the nearby Van Winkle Lake. Both trails are perfect for novice hikers and their pups.

As the campground is located within the Hiawatha National Forest, you and your pup are bound to spot wildlife during your stay. Interestingly, both the Gray Wolf and Canada Lynx, which are endangered species, are known to live within the forest, along with over 300 other species. Be on the lookout for bald eagles overhead, as they too are known to nest in the area!

Don't "fur-get" Fido on this outdoor vacation because Camp Seven Lakes Campground is a lakeside, paw-friendly Michigan location awaiting your visit.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
