Don't let the name of this campground fool you: There are no turkeys in Camp Turkeyville RV Resort! No need to let that stop you from enjoying your time there, though. The resort is located in Marshall, Michigan, which is about two hours west of Detroit. The daily rate starts at $50, but the longer you book your stay for, the better of a deal you'll get. The monthly rate, for example, is only $695. 

Whether you stay for a few days, a week, or a month, make sure to take advantage of all the amenities offered by the resort! Go for a swim or just lounge around in the campground's large pool. For children, there's a splash pad, complete with toys and small water fountains to play underneath. Take your rod and reel out to the fishing pond to catch some fish; make sure you release them, though. There's even an ice cream shop and a general store located on the premises, so if you forget something back at home, you don't have to travel far to replace it. 

Of course, your furry family member is also welcome to join you at Camp Turkeyville. The usual rules apply. Please remember to clean up any mess your dog makes. The park also requires that Fifi stay on a leash that's no longer than six feet; some neighbors might not want your four-legged friend venturing onto their campsite.
