Cape Woods Campground and Cabins is a great place for visitors to the Outer Banks in North Carolina to stay when they feel like camping. Rough it in a tent, or enjoy a stay in an RV or cabin. RV hook-up options include just water and electric or full hook-ups. There are six cabins on the campgrounds that are available for rent. There are also 11 tent camping spots that guests can enjoy.
The property also contains a bathhouse with toilets and showers, a playground, a swimming pool, a pond, a laundromat, a game room, and more. A dump station and fish-cleaning area are also open for guests. The pond wraps around three sides of the property, which makes it a very private area for camping. Additionally, the large pond makes it easier for more guests to fish without leaving the camp grounds. Some of the camping sites back up to the pond, which is very convenient for Cape Woods Campground and Cabins guests.
Fishing is a very common activity here, so much so that there is a fish cleaning station on-site. Fishing is often done off of the land near the coast or in the pond on-site, but you can also take a boat out onto the ocean for a day of fishing. There are often events that take place in the campgrounds. Guests are always welcome to join in on the fun. If you are hoping to host your own event, you can rent the pavilion space for a large group of people.
Pets are welcome to stay with you on the premises as long as they are kept on leashes at all times. Owners are responsible for the behavior of their pets. All dogs need to be cleaned up after throughout the duration of their stay. Dogs shouldn't be left unattended in the campgrounds.
