Description

A holiday in the Carolina Country Campground is an experience your kids will never forget, with twenty acres of green rolling hills, a lake, and a unique mini-zoo featuring cute farm animals.

Mom and dad’s checklist for clean restrooms, showers, and laundry will pass with flying colors and if you’ve arrived in the RV, expect the choice of full or partial hook-ups to electricity (30/50 amp), sewer, water, and WI-FI. Cable TV is too far out of range and the site pads are grass backed up with gravel. Each site has a picnic table and fire-ring while a camp store provides supplies and fishing gear.

Those wanting to pitch a tent are welcome to, with plenty of wooded sites but if you prefer a homely accommodation its easy to rent a rustic, log cabin that sleeps up to six people with a bathroom, kitchenette, toaster, microwave and outside grill for cooking. All you need to pack is enough linen and towels for your stay.

Carolina Country Campground is all about family fun with an awesome kids playground, mini-golf course, horseshoes, and basketball court. There is also an Olympic-style swimming pool and rare opportunity to interact with ponies, lamas, and goats. The good times just keep coming as the friendly hosts think up cool things to keep campers happy. Live music at the pavilion is always popular with paddleboat races and ice cream social events

If you want to bring the family dog to the camp, make sure they are on-leash and you pick up their waste. Furry friends will love the sights, smells, and sounds of the country and enjoy walking the trails through the woods.

A six-mile car ride and you’re in Salisbury, North Carolina, where the legendary explorer Daniel Boone lived for a time by the Yadkin River. History buffs will be wowed by the historic buildings with tributes to ancient Gothic, Victorian, and Roman architecture. In a predominantly agricultural setting, there are museums, art galleries, and restaurants - a little bit of something for everyone.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
