Description

Del Valle campground is located in a beautiful lakeside valley surrounded by pristine natural views and myriad opportunities for summer recreation.

Del Valle has 150 total sites available in its family camping area, 21 of which come standard with both water and sewage connections in case you'd like to come in a popup camper or another recreational vehicle. All sites come with electrical connections, as well as fire rings and picnic tables. There are also group sites available here that sleep a minimum of 11 people as well as custom equestrian campsites. These cater specifically to horse owners and can be ridden into. The equestrian camps come standard with horse stables for up to two animals.

Costs vary seasonally for the group and equestrian sites, so guests who are curious should give the campsite a call for more information. In addition to these camping options, cabins are also available for rent and feature amenities like air conditioning, electrical outlets, and a small kitchenette. Guests should be warned that no cooking is to take place in these cabins. Canines are permitted on the campgrounds here, provided they're on a leash and stay clear of any indoor structures.

If you enjoy swimming, the Del Valle Arroyo campground offers a chance to dip your toes in any season. This lake offers everything from sandy beaches to windsurfing and is open whenever the weather permits. Swimming is unsupervised, so make sure to stay safe and keep an eye on young ones if they've come along for the experience. If you've got a canine with you, it's crucial that they stay on a leash while they hang out on the sand. Canines are, unfortunately, barred from entering the lake waters here.

Hiking is another favorite pastime in and around the Del Valle campground. The favorite of these myriad trails is the area's segment of the Ohlone Wilderness Trail, which stretches for over 25 miles into the state's backcountry forests. You can bring your canine along for this adventure as well, provide they're restrained and kept clear of other guests.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
