Description
Diaz Lake Campground is located in Bishop, California, right off of US 395. This easy-access and convenient location is perfect for people looking to camp a night or two on the way to their final destination, or if they are on a road trip. The campground is large and surrounds the 80-acre Diaz Lake, and you have all the amenities of a regular-sized town just a few miles up the road. In the area, you can explore Diaz Lake, Alabama Hills, Loan Pine, Mt. Whitney (the tallest peak in the entire United States), and many other historic sites.

Some of the most popular activities in the area include sightseeing, relaxing at the lake, boating, kayaking, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, rock climbing, and visiting the historic sights in the area. Off-roading is another favorite activity in this region.

At the actual campground, you will have access to tons of features and amenities. You will have a boat ramp, dock, family campground, tent camping, RV camping, fire rings, firewood, fish cleaning station, picnic tables, playground for the kids, vault toilets, dump station, and water hookups. Dogs are allowed to come to the sites, but they need to wear their leash at all times. Never leave your dog unattended and always pick up their business with a poop bag and discard the bags in a trash can or at the dump station. There are areas of both shade and sun at the campground, so you have the option to choose which type of site will best fit your needs.

Diaz Lake Campground is a great place to stay if you are looking to camp right on a large lake or if you are passing through the area and need a place to stay for a couple of nights. Although you may hear some street noise, it is still a relaxing location for you and your dog to check out!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
