Description
Eagle Campground is located in Lassen National Forest in Susanville, California. The campground is part of Eagle Lake Recreation Area, which has five, large camping areas including Eagle Campground. All of the campgrounds and areas are connected by a five-mile trail. This campground is the closest area to the marina and is large, as well, with 30 reservable sites and 20 walk-in sites. Peak season runs from May to September every year, so you can expect the most amount of people during these months.

In the area, you will have access to Eagle Lake, which is popular for fishing, boating, kayaking, and various watersports. There are also streams, rivers, and other lakes nearby. The surrounding forest offers many miles of hiking and walking trails, places for mountain biking, sightseeing, and more. The landscape is very diverse. You can explore a wide range of different environments, wilderness areas, wildlife, and birds.

At the actual campsite and recreation area, there are plenty of amenities to keep you satisfied with your camping experience. Tent, RV, and trailer camping are all available. Some sites have electric and water hookups as well. A paved parking spur, campfire rings, and grills are located at each site. Drinking water, firewood, a dump station, flushing toilets, and a campsite host are additional features. Dogs are allowed at the campground, but they are expected to wear their leash at all times and never be left unattended. You must clean up after your pooch and throw the poop bags away properly.

Eagle Campground sits in a spectacular location with easy access to many hiking trails and bodies of water. Between the peaceful and quiet environment, the shady and open campsites, and the beautiful views in the area, you and your dog are sure to love camping in this amazing location!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
