Elwha Dam RV Park's convenient location makes it accessible to both Canadians and Americans alike, as it is only 15 minutes from the Victoria BC ferry and Port Angeles on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington. The campground is open all year-round, giving you the opportunity to explore the outdoors whenever you have the time.
With 66 campsites available, Elwha Dam can accommodate RV camping and even has a separate, dedicated tenting area. 50 sites come with full hookups (including water, electricity, and sewage), are spacious, and have a pull-thru. If you are tenting, you have the option of staying in the woods or open grounds. All campsites come with picnic tables and a fire ring. Modernize your experience by checking out the brand new restroom facilities with showers and flush toilets. If you're looking to pack light, there are laundry facilities for guests to use. Rates do include the site, 2 adults, 2 children under ten, 2 pets, a car, and a camping unit. Any additional people, vehicles, or pets will cost a total of $2 per day.
Dogs are allowed to camp with owners, as long as they remain on a leash at all times when off the campsite. For your benefit, there is a dog sitting service available on the campground, giving you the freedom to drop your pooch and check out some non-dog friendly activities.
There are a variety of ways to keep busy while visiting Elwha Dam. For starters, you can play various outdoor sports in the sports courts including basketball, badminton, horseshoes, volleyball, and more. There is a pavilion available for guests to use with a BBQ for cooking and lots of seating. You can also enjoy fishing the waters with boat ramps located only ten minutes away.
