You'll find this shaded camp nestled in a wondrous woodland of oak and shrubbery and surrounded by a forest of cooling conifer -- but even though this site is tucked away amongst the trees, you'll never be too far from an abundance of amenities and oppawtunities for fun! Whether you're hoping for a nature-filled escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life or an adventurous few days with your courageous canine, this is the spot for you! 

The magnificent mountains of southern California wrap around Fern Basin campground, which makes this the perfect spot for a hike. The Marion Mountain Trail is much-loved among campers, but unfortunately, your precious pooch can't join you on this one. While you take on the tremendous trek to San Jacinto Peak, you'll catch some spectacular sightings of the San Gabriel and San Bernardino mountains, and when you reach the top, the ocean and desert views will take your breath away! Don't worry about leaving your darling dog behind, because this campground has ample fantastical forests for you two to explore together!

Fern Basin campground has 23 campsites, and whether you're coming with a tent or in an RV, each one is equipped with all you need. You'll have a picnic area and a fire ring with grills in your secluded camp, and trash collection means you won't have to worry about finding a trash can for that puppy poop packaging! There's restaurants, laundry facilities, and a grocery store within ten miles of the camp too. Drinking water isn't always available at the campground, so visitors are encouraged to pack enough for themselves and their four-legged friends.
