Description
Fish Lake Campground is located in Six Rivers National Forest in Humbolt County, California. With only twenty-four campsites, the grounds are quite small, making for a quiet and intimate camping experience without the crowds. Even though it is small, it is still popular, so you are able to reserve your spot before you go to make sure you don't get there and do not have a spot to camp. Peak season is June to September, which are the most crowded months to camp at this location.

The campground sits on a big, beautiful lake, which is popular for boating, fishing, and swimming. You will find picturesque lily pads floating on the lake and towering trees by the campsites, which provide lots of shade from the hot sun in the summer. The site is also away from any major highways, so between the trees and the lack of roadways nearby, you will have the ultimate peace and relaxation. Many of the campsites have lake views, while the other sites are a short walk to the lake with easy access. Nearby, you will also find Klamath, Trinity, and Salmon Rivers that provide some of the best whitewater rafting and fishing in the area. Blue Lake, Red Lake, and Fish Lake trails are easily accessible from the campground as well, so you never have to go far to hike one of the best trails in the region!

At the actual campsite, amenities include both tent and RV camping, vault toilets, trash collection, fresh drinking water, picnic tables, fire rings, and grills for cooking all of the delicious food you bring. Your dog is welcome on the campgrounds as well, but they should wear their leash at all times and be non-aggressive to other people and dogs. Make sure to bring your own poop bags so you can clean up after your dog. Discard the poop bags properly so you can keep the ground clean, safe, and sanitary for the other campers.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
