This world-famous route runs for 31 miles and is as scenic as they come! While you, your family, and your furry friend take a spin down this road, you'll even get the chance to drive under one of the redwoods that's got a hole in its trunk big enough to fit a car! While touring, why not stop off at Humboldt Redwoods State Park? This spectacular spot has miles of terrific trails to try out, and while your precious pooch can't join you on this promenade, they are allowed on the fire and access roads as long as they're leashed!
As well as being nestled in a fantastical forest, Giant Redwoods RV and Camp also sits on the banks of the Eel River, making this campground one of the most picturesque there is! Darling dogs can join their owners for a splendid splash in this beautiful body of water, but make sure to rinse pups and people off afterward, as the river can become contaminated by algae. Don't worry if your pupperific pal doesn't like swimming -- this captivating campground has its very own dog park, too! This secure, off-leash stretch is the perfect place for puppy play and tiring your tyke out! Just remember that your pup needs to stay on their leash outside of this designated doggy zone, and don't forget to clean up after your furry friend.
Back at the campsite, you'll find electric hookups, picnic tables, and fire pits for some relaxing family time. This campground even has volleyball, tetherball, and horseshoe pits for you to enjoy! For the little ones, there's a great playground, and the convenience store is stocked up with goodies for a movie night!
