This quaint, small RV campground is the perfect stopping point for a traveler and a pooch who want a chance to stop, stretch their legs, and rest their heads for the night. While it's not a luxury space by any means, there are about 16 spaces along a burbling creek that are welcoming, clean, and convenient. Each site has full hook-ups too, meaning you can count on electricity, water, and cable TV! This park is described as secluded, and branches off of the Hi-Lo Motel right next to it. There's even a Hi-Lo cafe on-site that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day long! At this campground, you'll be greeted with views of Mount Shasta, have the opportunity to enjoy outdoor dining spaces with several picnic tables, and you'll be within walking distance from downtown Weed if you're hoping to explore this small town!Â
While your pup is welcome to join you at this stop-over spot, there are a few rules you'll need to abide by. Hi-Lo doesn't have any off-leash areas or places for your pet to roam free, but you and your doggo are welcome to wander around the park as long as they stay on-leash. You two can enjoy several grassy areas, and even hang out by the beautiful creek together! It's important to note that your pup is not permitted to stay in the Hi-Lo Motel, so if you have your dog with you, you'll be restricted to the RV park area.Â
Furthermore, doggy diners are not allowed inside the Hi-Lo Cafe, so if you do plan to drop in for a bit of delicious, home-cooked food, you'll need to either leave your four-legged friend safely inside your RV or grab your meal to-go. Your pup needs to be supervised outside at all times, so you can't leave them tied up outside the RV if you're not around to keep a close eye on them.
