Despite the fact that pups are prohibited on many of the trails in these areas, there's still so much for you two to do together! Cordial canines are welcome on fire roads and paved paths, and this means you have plenty of room to explore some wondrous woodlands. Don't forget the doggy bags though, and remember to always scoop that poop no matter where you visit!

Back at the campground, you'll find plenty of drinking water, a few electric hookups, and a dump station. Each charming campsite has picnic tables and a fire ring with grills, so cooking up a family feast is a "mutts"! Nightly rates for non-electric sites start at $20. Hensley Lake is also waiting to bring you hours of water-based fun! You can rent a boat and go for a relaxing cruise on the water, try out some fast-paced water-skiing, and catch some rainbow trout and black bass while line fishing. Precious pooches have to be kept on their leash at all times, but they can join you for a doggy dip in the lake! Looking for land-based laps? There are biking and horseback riding routes for you to enjoy, and tons of terrific trails to try out too!
