Description

Looking to explore the North Sierra area of California with your four-legged friend? Need a spot to stop for the night and rest your heads? Then the Highlands RV Park in Bishop, California might be the pawfect place for the two of you to check out -- especially if you're looking to enjoy some quality fishing. This park is close to alpine lakes, cold creeks, and rivers that are packed with fish (not to mention they're absolutely beautiful sights to see, too!).

If you and your pooch are the outdoorsy types, this is the perfect spot for you. Bishop, California has so much great hiking and backcountry camping if you want to take a break from the RV life and "ruff" it in the woods. Check out the John Muir Wilderness for great day hikes (just a few miles from the campsite) or the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest for longer adventures (a bit further away from the campground). Drive out to the Keough Hot Springs, or even get super adventurous and go rock climbing at the Chalk Bluffs!

Okay, you're close to a lot of great attractions, sights, and events, that's all well and good -- but let's talk amenities. Highlands RV Park has over 100 paved sites (52 of these sites are pull-through), each equipped with patios and picnic tables to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Every site has either 30 or 50 amp electricity, has cable television hookups, and the entire park is accessible. Highlands RV Park offers year-round fish-cleaning stations, a recreational hall for your enjoyment, laundry facilities, a dump station, propane refill areas, and even copy service and a library right on the site! Now, to the most important information -- can your pup come with? Absolutely! Your four-legged, furry companion is welcome to join you at the Highlands RV Park, but you need to keep them on their leash at all times.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
