Description

Are you looking for the pawfect place for the long overdue family vacation? Check out the Houghton Lake Travel Park Campground, located only a mile away from Houghton Lake, Michigan's largest inland lake. The amenity-laden campground accommodates RV (big rigs included!) and tents, and also offers cabin camping in the beautiful Roscommon County. It's a prime location for first-time campers, anglers, and those interested in spending quality time with their family outdoors. Sightseeing in the Red Pine Natural Area, exploring the three-mile loop of the Lost Twin Lakes Pathway, or fishing for trout, perch, or bass in one of the nearby lakes, such as Houghton, Higgins, and Lake St. Helen -- the campgroundā€™s central location enables it all. Most importantly, it's dog-friendly, meaning Fido will not have to sit this one out.

The Houghton Lake Travel Park Campground is family-oriented, and the campgroundā€™s hosts always make sure their visitors feel very welcome. The hosts organize tons of events and activities that families can participate in together, from movie nights to craft contests. The campground amenities, such as the heated pool, game room, and playground, also add more ways families can spend more time together.

The full-service campground offers spacious primitive tent sites, large pull-throughs for RVs, and cozy cabins for rent. Water, electric, and sewer hookups are available, and there is free wifi throughout the entire campground. Best of all? The campground has a designated dog walking area with environmentally-friendly pooper scoopers available and designated trash receptacles for dog waste. This means you can walk your pooch without fear of disturbing other campers, and the designated area is especially convenient for evening walks. Primitive tent sites are $30 per night, sites with water and electric hookups are $38 per night, while cabins start at $55 per night.

Gear up for an unfurgettable vacation at Houghton Lake Travel Park Campground!
