You and your dog will have a pawesome time exploring everything Hutchins Group Campground has to offer. The campground itself offers three group sites, each of which can accommodate up to 25 people. It has campfire rings, drinking water, and tables to ensure that your stay is a comfortable one. It is located at an elevation of 5,200 feet, and it is near Bucks Lake, which has great beaches and clear water. You’ll have lots to do during your stay there; one of the more popular activities is to explore the surrounding national forest with the extensive trail network that runs through it. A good place to start your hike is at the nearby Pacific Crest Trailhead. You can also head over to Bucks Lake for a boating, swimming, or fishing excursion.

There are a few things you will want to keep in mind while you’re visiting Hutchins Group Campground. The first is that the campground is located in an area with bears, so you will want to follow all the necessary bear safety practices. Keep your food stored safely in bear-proof containers or lockers. Also note that your canine companion must remain on-leash at all times.
