If you are looking to enjoy time in the beautiful redwood forests of northern California but still keep some of the basic amenities of back home, you should definitely visit Kamp Klamath RV Park & Campground. Adventures await for you and Fido in this pet-friendly camping ground.

Those who bring an RV will be greeted with full hookup sites sporting free cable TV and wifI, but for those who would rather "ruff" it, tent sites are available and mostly separated from RV areas. The owners of Kamp Klamath want to make your stay as pleasant as possible, so they provide hot showers and laundry facilities. You can enjoy the peace of the woods at your fire ring and picnic table on your site (fires only allowed when there is no fire ban in effect).

Don't worry about being bored -- right in the campground is a park area full of places for activities like volleyball, badminton, and more, as well as a playground if you have young children. Pets are considered family, so where you go, they go (as long as you have them under control, and leashes are recommended)!

Fishing is a popular pastime, as is wildlife spotting. Since the campground is situated on the Klamath River, close to the estuary near the Pacific Ocean, the wildlife can be quite eclectic. From fish and birds to deer and bear, you never know what you may run into when you turn a corner!

Kamp Klamath is also known for its whale watching spots, so if you and Fido patiently wait, you may be rewarded with a once-in-a-lifetime whale show!

Between the wildlife watching, the multiple trails available to be hiked, and the activities that surround the camp, there is plenty to do to keep everyone occupied. With all of the amenities provided on-site and the local gas stations and small stores nearby, you may never want to go home!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
