At this park, you'll be close to marinas and launch ramps which include several areas to rent kayaks, canoes, jet skis, boats, and more!

There's great year-round fishing here, a charming and historic Old West village known as Kernville at the center of town, natural hot springs close by, gold and silver mines, and Native American sites, too! You're also just a one-hour drive from the famed giant Sequoia trees, as well as a short, two-and-a-half hour drive from Los Angeles if you're craving a little city-slickin' for the day. This resort isn't just easy to get to (although it is), it's also an ideal drive for folks who are after adventure. It's the only road in southern or central California that crosses the Sierra Mountains and the Sequoia National Forest, so no matter what, you're in for a sight-seeing treat!
