If you are looking to camp at a nature-filled location with a family atmosphere, southern Maine's Lazy Frog Campground is just the place for you, your family, and its four-legged members!Ā
The 16-acre campground sits among the majestic woods of Maine in the charming town of Lebanon that is filled with both commercial and nature-based attractions. Kids will love the Hilltop Fun Center and Funtown Splashtown, while the adults will enjoy strolling through the countless local antique shops and art hot-spots. The campground provides easy access to must-see lighthouses, forts, and sandy coastline beaches that offer spectacular waterside views of the Atlantic, perfect for relaxing walks with your canine companion. The nearby Milton and Great East Lakes will provide patrons with boating opportunities and water sports.Ā
Leaving the campground to have a good time won't be necessary if you're staying at the amenity-laden Lazy Frog. There is a frog pond, a playground, horseshoes, corn hole, and a recreational hall with tons of games and puzzles for quality family time. If that wasn't enough, the campgroundās hosts organize daily events such as movie nights, craft nights and community bonfires.Ā
In addition to on-site entertainment, the campground features over 70 large sites that are either partially or well-shaded by the mature trees that grow throughout the campground. Every campsite comes equipped with a fire ring and a picnic table, and full-service hookup connections are available too. The campground also offers cabin rentals that are stocked with everything you would need for a short stay. The cabins include a full-service bathroom, mini kitchen inside and a picnic table, grill and fire pit outdoors. The campground has a 24-hour laundry facility, free wifi, and a dump station. Sites start at $39 per night while cabins start at $105. There is also a $5 fee for each additional person or pet.Ā
Although the Lazy Frog is pet-friendly, the campgroundās staff make sure that patrons follow the campgroundās guidelines. These include having up-to-date rabies vaccinations for your dogs, keeping your pooches leashed at all times, and cleaning up after them using the designated trash receptacles. More rules, as well as helpful suggestions, can be found on the campgroundās website.Ā
