Leisure Lake Family Campground

Leisure Lake Family Campground is situated in Michigan, right on a private lake that guests have unlimited access to. This dog-friendly campground is the perfect vacation location for you and your pooch, as there are many ways to keep yourself busy during your stay.

All pups are welcome to accompany their owners to Leisure Lake Family Campground. While staying at the campground, you are asked to keep your pooch on a leash at all times. This leash is not to be any longer than six feet. Dogs are to remain on-leash when walking the grounds, and you are also asked to tidy up any pet waste they make. There are garbage cans throughout the campground for you to use at your own convenience. 

Leisure Lake can accommodate campers of all kinds by offering accommodations for tents, RV's, pop-ups, and individuals looking to modernize their stay by renting a cabin. In total, there are over 140 large campsites, each of which comes with a fire-ring and picnic table. Dump stations are also available close by for RVs. 

Within the campground, there are a variety of activities and amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The lake located within the grounds is an angler's paradise, as it is stocked with all sorts of fish. There are also multiple roped-off swimming areas in the lake, with sandy beaches for guests. A boat launch on the lake welcomes small motorized boats, giving you a chance to hit the water. There's even a water park, jumping pillow, and boat rentals available for entertainment. Finally, there's a camp store where you can stock up on any forgotten goods, as well as firewood delivery, where they bring it right to your site -- talk about convenient! 

Something to be mindful of is that dogs are not allowed in most buildings, including the bathroom and showers. They are also not permitted to enter the swimming areas or the playground. Keep this in mind when exploring the campground.
