If you and Sparky find yourselves in the Midwest looking for somewhere to camp, make sure you visit Long Lake Resort and RV Park! This pupular spot allows you to camp out comfortably in your RV, but you also have the option of renting one of their cabins. If you come in your own RV, the nightly rate starts at about $40. If you decide to rent a cabin, however, it'll set you back somewhere between $95 and $175 per night.Â
Long Lake Resort is known for its fishing; there's even a large section of the river dedicated to fishing from the bank. If fishing isn't something you're into, though, there's still plenty of other activities to enjoy! Head to the archery range to shoot some arrows, or rent a kayak or canoe for a pleasant trip down the river. Hiking trails are also available right on the grounds, so you'll have no trouble getting in your daily exercise. You'll want to know, though, that buffalo are frequently seen near the campground. While there's a section of the campground for viewing them, make sure you don't approach one and spook it.
Your furry friend is also invited to join in on the fun! Long Lake Resort staff members simply ask that you keep Fido on a short leash at all times. No breed bans are currently in place, but the staff reserves the right to kick you and your dog out of the campground should they be overly aggressive. It's also important to know that, while your dog is allowed at most campsites, there are currently no pets allowed in either of the "honeymoon" cabins.
Long Lake Resort and RV Park is a beautiful campground with plenty of pawesome amenities awaiting you and your dog. Book your reservation today; we're pawsitive you won't regret it!Â
