Description

Guests can find a total of fifty different sites at Lupine, all of which are conveniently located next to restroom and drinking water taps. These sites come standard with campfire rings and picnic tables in case you're looking to roast some marshmallows while you're hanging out. A $2 surcharge is added for guests who are looking to stay during the holidays. Feel free to spend the night with Fido, as long as they're indoors with you overnight. Note that there is a two-pet maximum per site.

Due to Lupine's placement on the western shores of Bass Lake, the area sees plenty of fishing during the warmer months. Anglers are regularly treated to species such as trout, bluegill, bass, and catfish among the sixteen different species seen here. Limits for the catch is five per day, with a total of ten in your possession at any time. If you have your canine along for a fishing trip, make sure they're on a leash and not being disruptive to other guests. While Bass Lake is open year round, the surrounding streams and creeks close seasonally. Make sure to bring any equipment you might need as this area features no rental or sales services.

Boats are also welcome on Bass Lake. At about five miles in length, it's able to cater to all sorts of watercraft, welcoming everything from single-person kayaks to large motorized vessels. Registration and launching fees are paid in advance at the Madera County Sheriff's Department, located on the north shore of Bass Lake. Costs for these services vary depending on the size of the boat as well as its horsepower. A concrete boat launch can be found on Lupine's lakeshore where overnight guests can launch from. Dog owners are free to keep their canines along for a boat ride as long as they're kept clear from the public launching areas.

A swimming beach is available for guests of Lupine as well, which is regularly supervised by safety staff during the summer months. Sorry dog owners, but Fido will have to stay on the sand while you take a dip. All entry prices listed are for the Lupine Campground, and may not reflect the costs of any surrounding parks or attractions.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
