Maple Grove RV Resort is a great place to stay if you want to be near Seattle without all the hassle of being in the city. The RV park is just 20 miles north of downtown Seattle, which puts guests close to all the action. Guests can choose how much comfort they want during their stay. There are sites with full hook-ups, WiFi, and cable. Other spots have only water hook-ups. With 87 spaces, there are plenty of spots for guests to park their RVs. The park includes a laundry facility as well as an RV repair facility that is just half a mile down the road.
Dogs are allowed to stay on the property, but they must be with an owner at all times. Dogs should be kept on leashes to ensure their safety as well as the safety of other guests, although it is unclear as to whether there are rules regarding leashes or not. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets throughout the duration of their stay in the park. Dogs may or may not be allowed inside the buildings on the property, so you may want to speak to staff before bringing your pet.
While there are plenty of trees in the campgrounds, not many of them provide ample shade for those staying in their RVs. Be aware of the sun and use sunscreen when needed.
Since the campgrounds are so close to Seattle, many guests enjoy venturing off into the city during the day. Guests often like to visit popular Seattle destinations, such as the Boeing Factory, Paul Allen's Flying Heritage Collection, the Space Needle, and the Great Wheel. Tours of Mount Rainier are also popular for tourists. Woodinville Wine Country isn't too far away, and many guests like to be able to explore the beautiful vineyards. Whale watching along the coast is also a fun activity.
