Mark Twain Landing

Mark Twain Landing Campground, located in Monroe City, Missouri, is a dog-friendly campground stocked with amenities for the perfect outdoor adventure.

Bring Fido along if you plan to camp in an RV or cabin. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted to accompany tent campers, but they are allowed in select cabins, lodges, and RV sites. A $25 fee does apply per pooch to cover the cost of maintenance and cleaning when staying in a cabin or lodge. A maximum of two dogs is permitted per rental unit or RV for no additional fees. Dog owners are expected to tidy up all waste in a timely manner. Dogs are also required to remain on-leash, aside from when inside of your camper or cabin.

Primitive tent camping begins at $32 per night, with RV sites starting at $49. A variety of site types are offered for guests to choose from, including primitive tent sites, back-in RV sites, pull-through RV sites, and premium sites with additional amenities. Primitive tent camping is the most economically priced, with no water or electricity accessible on-site. Primitive campsites sleep 4, with every additional guest costing $5 per night, with a maximum of 6 guests per site.

RV sites range from $55 to $64 per night. Pull-through sites are the most expensive as they can accommodate almost any camper. All RV sites come with full hookup services, including water, electricity, and sewage. They also come equipped with picnic tables and fire rings, giving you the opportunity to eat beneath the stars while enjoying the gorgeous outdoors.

When it comes to ways to keep busy, there's plenty to do at Mark Twain Landing. This campground is home to Splash Landing, an area attraction with a variety of water activities, including waterslides, a wave pool, an adult pool, a lazy river, kiddie pool, tiki bar, snack bar, and much more! Other amenities you'll be pleased to find at Mark Twain include planned activities, a fishing pier, swimming pool, mini-golf, an indoor and outdoor movie theater, and so much more.
