Nemo Landing

Nemo Landing Campground is found close to Pittsburg, Missouri, right on Pomme de Terre Lake. The lake is divided into two separate "arms." Nemo Landing Campground is situated right on one of these arms, giving visitors access to coves and a beach for fishing and swimming.

The campground has 115 sites available for its guests. Of the 115 sites, 25 have electric hookups and 29 have both electric and water hookups, giving you a chance to choose what type of camping experience you want. Hot showers, flush toilets, and laundry facilities are available, adding luxury to your stay.

The campground is pet-friendly, giving you the opportunity to bring your pooch along for the journey. Some regulations to keep in mind are that your pup must remain on-leash and under your control at all times, and of course, cleaning up any mess or waste they make is mandatory.

When searching for activities to fill your day, be sure to check out the nearby amphitheater, local playground, or swimming beach. At the beach, there is also a boat ramp for guests to use. Water-skiing and Jet-skiing are popular water sports you can partake in or observe from the shores. The Nemo Landing Marina is just across the road, where you can stock up on tackle, fuel and find an assortment of equipment rentals.

Fishing is popular in Pomme de Terre Lake as the waters are abundant in catfish, bass, walleye, crappie, and muskie. Interestingly, this is the only lake in Missouri with a high population of muskie, making it an angler's paradise. The coves situated along the waterway also give fishermen a perfect spot to cast from.

During the offseason, water and electric hookups are not available and the dump station is also not in operation. The on-season is typically April through September, with water and electricity hookups becoming unavailable dependent upon weather.
