The friendly hosts provide ultra-clean and updated restrooms, showers with a swimming pool, a horseshoes pit, and a kids' playground. The property is dotted with pretty trees however, the RVs are generally out in the open sun. Roads are gravel while the spacious RV sites are gravel/grass with a picnic table and fire-ring. The campgrounds are well-kept with a few full-time campers and a wondrous setting of western memorabilia sure to make every cowboy smile.

Stage Stop Campground has a pet-friendly mantra and fully-fenced dog run where camp woofers can go-off leash and get plenty of exercise. A doggy bag station sits right by the gate so you can pick up pup waste and there's a list of reasonable rules including your pooch must be monitored and friendly toward other pups (plus be licensed and vaccinated.) It might pay to keep your pooch on-leash when outside the dog run as the camp is right next to a busy highway

A five-mile drive finds you in the city of Neosho where antique stores offer a chance to find a rare collectible, and local casinos invite visitors to try their luck. The Neosho Bicentennial Park is a must for nature lovers, who will enjoy hiking or biking the trails. If you're passing through, check out the World's Largest Flower Box, set in a railroad gondola car.
