Round up the family and head for Stage Stop Campground, where the wild west is showcased with a landscape of stage coaches, wagon wheels, and a Sheriff’s office. The western theme is great fun for kids and cowboys, who’ll feel right at home in this quaint, Missouri camp where RVs can roll in and be connected to electricity (30/50 amp), sewer, and water. Stay social online with free access to Wi-Fi and feel assured, there is a storm shelter for campers safety.
The friendly hosts provide ultra-clean and updated restrooms, showers with a swimming pool, a horseshoes pit, and a kids' playground. The property is dotted with pretty trees however, the RVs are generally out in the open sun. Roads are gravel while the spacious RV sites are gravel/grass with a picnic table and fire-ring. The campgrounds are well-kept with a few full-time campers and a wondrous setting of western memorabilia sure to make every cowboy smile.
Stage Stop Campground has a pet-friendly mantra and fully-fenced dog run where camp woofers can go-off leash and get plenty of exercise. A doggy bag station sits right by the gate so you can pick up pup waste and there's a list of reasonable rules including your pooch must be monitored and friendly toward other pups (plus be licensed and vaccinated.) It might pay to keep your pooch on-leash when outside the dog run as the camp is right next to a busy highway
A five-mile drive finds you in the city of Neosho where antique stores offer a chance to find a rare collectible, and local casinos invite visitors to try their luck. The Neosho Bicentennial Park is a must for nature lovers, who will enjoy hiking or biking the trails. If you're passing through, check out the World's Largest Flower Box, set in a railroad gondola car.
The Stage Stop Campground, situated on a photogenic scene of green spaces and majestic trees, is the ideal place to take a breather from the road or stay for the summer.
