Michigan Oaks Camping Resort

Michigan Oaks Camping Resort is located in northern Michigan and "off-furs" guests access to an outdoor oasis awaiting your exploration. At this campground, all sites are dog-friendly, so don’t even think about leaving Fido at home!

When it comes to accommodations, Michigan Oaks is flexible and comfortable. In total, there are 160 sites, all of which are spacious and wooded with adequate shading. Of the 160 sites, 31 come complete with all hookup services, including water, electric, and sewage. Another 57 campsites come equipped with water and electric, 51 come with electric only, and there are 21 rustic sites for campers looking for an authentic outdoor experience in northern Michigan. Primitive camping begins at $35 per night during peak season, with additional site amenities costing just a bit more. Rates drop to $25 per night during the off-season.

As previously mentioned, all campsites are dog-friendly, so bring your pooch along with you on this vacation. Do keep in mind that you're asked to have your pup on a leash at all times. All dogs are to be cleaned up after immediately, with their waste disposed of in the provided garbage cans scattered throughout the campground. There's a limit of two dogs per site, and pooches aren't allowed in the Chimpunk Circle recreation area.

Michigan Oaks is not short in amenities, as it offers modern perks that are sure to add comfort to your stay. For starters, on-site activities are constantly being facilitated by campground staff through the summer. Other activities accessible from the grounds include fishing, boating, hiking, biking, rafting, golfing and a guest favorite, elk viewing! Within the campground, you will find a playground, games room, basketball and volleyball courts, gem mining, and a variety of hiking trails waiting for your pooch to explore, in addition to laundry facilities, a campground store, and an outdoor theater.
