Mission Bay RV Resort is located in sunny San Diego, California. It is a larger RV resort as it has 260 spaces available for RVs and folding tent campers. There are also RV age restrictions, and you can stay for a 31-day maximum at this resort. You can, however, bring your dog along!
Mission Bay is located on the beautiful California Coast. The site is surrounded by palm and other kinds of trees and the ocean is only a stone’s throw away. There are restrooms and showers available for guests’ use. You may not find fire rings here, but they do sell firewood in the campground, so you might be able to have a campfire on site, but check with management first.
For your RV, there are full hookups, patios, and tables at each site. As far as amenities on site, there are laundry facilities, a control access gate, a snack bar, RV supplies, and more. If you’re looking for something to do outside of your RV, there are horseshoe pits, swimming, kayaking, fishing, a boat ramp, and even access to Mission Bay!
As far as your pooch goes, there are some rules to keep in mind. You can only have three dogs per RV, and they do not allow Pitbulls, Rottweilers, or Dobermans to stay on site. Your doggo must be leashed and attended at all times, and it must be on a leash that is six feet or shorter. You can tether your pup outside, but you must stay with them and the tether also can’t be more than 6 feet long. They discourage dogs from barking a lot, and they make it very clear that if your pooch poops, you must clean it up - so bring poop bags with you wherever you go!
Looking for a beautiful, scenic RV destination? If so, Mission Bay RV Resort is worth checking out.
