Description

Life in a concrete jungle can take a toll on a person's mental and physical health. If you find yourself wanting to get away from the smog and fast-paced city life, then pay a visit to beautiful Mono Hot Springs Resort in northern California. This resort features picturesque stone cabins, as well as tent-style cabins for guests looking for a more traditional camping experience. No matter what type of lodging option you choose, the resort amenities will have your companions (your canine included!) feeling like they are in the lap of luxury!

Management has a three-night minimum policy, though shorter stays are sometimes allowed if there are vacancies. Tent cabins nightly rates start at $75 per night for up to four guests; rates for the stone cabins range from $129 to $179 per night. You will need to bring bedding, towels, and cooking supplies (including a cooler and camp stove) for the tent sites, though bear-proof storage lockers are included. Resort guests also have access to the bath house as well. Well-behaved dogs can tag along for a fee of $12 per night, but make sure you keep Fido leashed when outside your tent.

The resort features several hot springs, a spa, cafe, general store, river access, and horseback riding activities. Tule Lake lies just a mile away from the grounds and is a fantastic place to catch some trout or enjoy a scenic picnic. There are also world-renowned hiking opportunities in nearby Yosemite National Park. After you get in some canine cardio, schedule a visit with the in-house masseuse, Aimee, who is sure to have you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! Nothing is better than a nice deep-tissue massage after a long walk.

Go ahead and make a reservation to soak away your worries and reset your mind at Mono Hot Springs Resort -- you'll be so glad you did!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
