Description

If your idea of the perfect vacation is a campground with a lakeside view and time out to pursue your favorite pastimes, set a course for Moon Landing RV Park and be wowed by the picturesque setting.

It doesn’t get much better than this for the RVer. Settle onto a spacious, level, gravel site with pull-through or back-in access and full hookups. Sites come with a picnic table and fire-ring, with established trees offering some shade, plus complimentary wifi included in the daily fee of $35 to $55.

The fun begins with a visit to the camp store packed to the rafters with fishing gear and bait so the avid angler can get out on the water and explore the endless lake or cast a line from the dock. A South Carolina fishing license is required and can be obtained at the park.

There’s no road noise here, only the relaxing purr of boat engines and the sound of happy campers enjoying their summer break. The hosts provide pristine restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities, as well as an area to spruce up the RV. You can play a game of horseshoes and look forward to fun events the staff puts on to keep campers entertained. Live bands and celebratory holidays are regular calendar events.

Bring your furry friends to this welcoming camp that requires woofers to be on a leash no longer than six feet. The standard rule of supplying litter bags and cleaning up your pet's waste applies, with good-natured pooches preferred.

A 30-minute drive takes you to Lake Greenwood State Park, a watery nirvana with opportunities to fish for bass and intrepid trails to explore. You could start your adventure with a popular and relatively easy-to-navigate nature trail where your dog can accompany you on-leash.

Moon Landing RV Park and Marina could be your dream getaway, but it pays to book as summer and holidays are their busiest times.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
