After a full day of activities in Branson, Missouri, come back to relax at Musicland Kampground, located within walking distance from all the local attractions. You will find yourself in a forested oasis at the heart of an Ozark town, where you will be able to unwind completely while being just minutes away from major museums, restaurants, and stores.
The campground primarily accommodates RVs, but tent campers are welcome as well. For ruffly $38 per night, you can get a site that comes with water and electric hookups. There are also multiple discounts that you might qualify for, so be sure to check the official rates on their website.Â
The campground also features fully equipped bathrooms and laundromats. There are over 100 sites, each of which offers WiFi reception and comes with its own picnic table. Two of the cabins are also pet-friendly, but canine campers aren't allowed in the deluxe cabins. You’ll love the pool and the recreation room, while your fur-ball will love the fenced pet area. Doggos must stay on-leash and out of buildings, and you're required to clean up after them at all times.
This is an excellent home base if you are a casual camper or want to experience some of Branson’s best commercial attractions. From museum hopping between the Titanic Museum, Hollywood Wax Museum, Ripley's Believe It or Not, and World's Largest Toy Museum, to ziplining, go-karting or splashing with your kids at the water park, you'll have plenty of op-paw-tunities for fun.
If you are searching for traditional camping activities, check out the Lakes Forest Wilderness Area, where you and your four-pawed pal can break a sweat on a 4.4-mile hiking trail. Along the way, you will discover a charming barn, a waterfall, two caves, and lakeside views.
If you're willing to explore further, the beautiful Busiek State Forest, located just 20 minutes north of Branson, offers over 18 miles of more leisurely trails. It is filled with wildlife such as squirrels, turkeys, and deer, so make sure to keep your canine companion on a leash here as well.
Musicland Kampground is a furrific vacation destination for history-loving hounds and humans!
