Traveling to or from Florida and looking for a pet-friendly RV park that's easily accessible from I-95? New Green Acres RV Park, located less than five miles southwest from the center of Walterboro, South Carolina, could be just what you need.

With more than 100 RV sites and five primitive sites for tent camping, the park lies in well-shaded surrounds and offers all the essential features you need when staying for a night or two. Its close proximity to I-95 means you will get some traffic noise, but that's the price you pay for convenience, in this case, and isn't a major drawback.

The pull-through RV sites are easy to access and offer plenty of space, with 30- and 50-amp power available. WiFi is provided and propane is available, and the showers and bathrooms are clean. However, some visitors have reported that the hookups on some sites are in need of updating.

Other park facilities include a laundry, dump station, swimming pool, and children's playground. Nightly rates start at $20 for a primitive tent site, $30 for a site with 30-amp electricity and water, and $32 for full hookup sites with 30-amp power, or $35 for full hookup sites with 50-amp power.

Pets are welcome in New Green Acres RV Park, which boasts a large fenced dog area where your pooch can enjoy some off-leash entertainment. This is a very handy inclusion if you want to give your furry friend a chance to burn off some pent-up energy after a long day on the road.

Elsewhere in the park, make sure you keep your pet on a leash and show courtesy to other guests. Cleaning up after your dog whenever necessary is also a must.
